"When I put many colours together in a rug, it feels like my heart gains colour too. I used to think it was just handwork, but it isn't, you have to think, choose each thread with care, imagine how it will all look in the end. Every rug teaches me something new, and that gives me hope that I can still learn so much in this life."

MISAVA

The round carpet

The MISAVA carpet is perfect for your living space, bringing a calm and comfortable atmosphere to your home.

Its shape creates a natural focal point, while the interplay of colors and textures enhances the sense of harmony, making your living room or bedroom feel more intimate and vibrant.

Named after the Xangana word for "earth," MISAVA reflects the round shape of our planet.

Dimensions: The carpet measures between 150 and 165 cm in diameter. This variation depends on the stitch tension and the type of fabric used, which is a standard characteristic of handmade products.

TANDZA

The oval carpet

The TANDZA carpet  is ideal for defining spaces and adding a sense of depth.

It brings a refined touch of color and character: whether placed under a table, in a living area, or at the foot of a bed, it subtly anchors the room while adding movement and personality.

Named after the Xangana word for 'egg,' TANDZA reflects its meaning through its elegant, oval shape.

Dimensions: The carpet measures between 122 and 140 cm in length and between 80 cm and 95 cm in width. This variation depends on the stitch tension and the type of fabric used, which is a standard characteristic of handmade products.

Handmade and Unique

Every piece is born from its own combination of patterns and yarns, no two are ever alike.

Each carpet carries its own identity: subtle differences in stitch tension, the handmade process itself, and the character of the fabrics used all leave their mark, making every piece truly one of a kind.

The round carpets keep a small secret: hidden within the base, alongside the two main fabrics, is a touch of a third, sometimes sourced from another African country, giving each rug an even more exclusive signature.

Special editions

Keep up with us: special carpet collections will soon be launched, including pieces designed for newborns’ rooms and others featuring the beautiful colors of capulanas from northern Mozambique.
